Ariselu or Adirasam is a traditional Indian food a sweet from South India speacially in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha. It is also called Kajjaaya in Karnataka. A similar sweet in Tamil Nadu called Adhirasam is prepared for pujas, which is made with ghee and oil. Ariselu made with rice powder and jaggery. Ariselu or Adirasam are crunchy and yummy one can munch on them for instant energy. The crispy outer layer and the soft inner layer is the specialty of the sweet.
